Discover 54 vehicles, from steam locomotives to Shinkansen trains, which have led Japan’s modernization Many historic and rare vehicles are on exhibition, including the very first 0 Series Shinkansen, the 500 Series Shinkansen that achieved commercial operation at 300 km/h, and the massive Class C62 steam locomotive—the largest train ever operated by Japanese National Railways. An impressive spectacle operated by our staff!
Railways Diorama
Our staff operate 1/80th-scale model trains in the massive diorama, which is approximately 30 meters wide and 10 meters in depth. We recreated essential railway facilities, such as a rail yard, allowing you to enjoy the entire railroad system through the speeding models. (Duration: Approximately 15 minutes)
