Visitors with young children
Our facilities include diaper changing tables and nursing rooms so that people with young children can also enjoy their visit. We hope you will have a relaxed and pleasant time at the Kyoto Railway Museum.

Nursing rooms have been set up at various parts of the museum. These have flasks of hot water to make formula milk, and also diaper changing tables.

Push chairs are lent out free of charge in the entrance hall.

Guide to Food and Beverage Areas
The range of dishes on the museum restaurant menu will please everyone from small children to the elderly. Its windows offer a view of Kyoto and passing trains, and it can also be used a space to sit and take a break.
You can also enjoy a boxed lunch or light meal in the dining car on the first floor.
The museum shop
The museum shop has merchandise that is not available anywhere else, including goods that will delight true railway enthusiasts and products designed for small children. You do not have to pay the museum entrance fee to enter the museum shop.
